Bungalows
On the hillside behind the restaurant there are five spacious wooden bungalows. They contain a separate sitting room and bedroom. In the bedroom you will find a solid double bed, storage for clothing, a reading light and an adjustable wall fan.
The sitting room and veranda have been furnished with bamboo furniture. Four bungalows have an extra single bed in the sitting room. Every bungalow has its own veranda. Sitting outside, you cannot see the other verandas and vice versa. What you will see from your veranda is a beautiful sea view and - between five and six p.m. - an impressive sunset.
In the large tiled bathroom you will find cold tap water, a wash basin, a shower and a western (flushing) toilet. The resort supplies towels, blankets, toilet paper and mosquito coils.
Bunaken Island has 24 hour electricity. In case of a power cut, the resort will use a generator.
Fresh tap water is hard to find on Bunaken, since it is such a small island in the middle of the sea.
Cicak Senang has its own water system with brackish water, which can be used for washing. Drinking water is shipped in from Manado, this water is also used in the kitchen for meal preparation.
Restaurant & Bar
In the beach side restaurant you will have three meals a day. These are included in the price for an overnight stay. The meals are mostly Indonesian and fish lovers will definitely get plenty of that! On the menu are also chicken, meat, vegetarian dishes and fresh fruit every day.
You are welcome in the bar to enjoy drinks such as cold beers, fruit juice, soft drinks, ice tea and Manadonese palm wine. And here's your chance to taste fresh young coconut!
At Cicak Senang you can buy biscuits, snacks, cigarettes and toiletries. There is a selection of novels to swap, some board games, a cd/dvd-player and guitars to try out.
From the restaurant and bar you can enjoy the amazing views of the sea and enjoy a pleasant breeze.
