Reservations/ How to get here

If you reserve in advance the resort boat can pick you up in Manado. This transfer costs 22 euro, but is complementary if you stay seven nights or more with at least two persons. If you decide to arrange for your own transport it is also possible to charter a boat in the harbor. Most boats for Bunaken leave Manado from behind Hotel Celebes. The transfer takes about thirty to forty-five minutes by speed boat and costs approximately Rp 300.000.

A cheaper and more adventurous option is a transfer with the public boat. Every day (except for Sundays) around 2 pm at least three boats leave for Bunaken from the Pasar Bersehati in Manado. It costs Rp 25.000 per person and takes almost one hour. You will unboard at Bunaken village and find yourself an ojek - a motorbike with a driver - who can drop you off at the resort. Or the resort boat can pick you up from the village if you notify the resort beforehand.

Manado has an international airport. Singapore Airlines owned company Silk Air flies from Singapore to Manado three times a week and vice versa. Besides the above there are many flights a day to and from Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Makassar and other places in Indonesia. For domestic flight information, check the websites of for example Garuda Airlines, Lion Air and Batavia Air. A good website to book domestic flights online and compare prices is http://ticketindonesia.info

The center / port of Manado is about a 30 minute drive from the airport. A taxi should cost you no more than Rp 100.000.

You need a visa to enter Indonesia. Most Europeans, Americans and Australians can buy a Visa-on-Arrival at the airport for $ 25. Your passport must be valid for at least six more months and you might be asked to show a return ticket. Make sure you check the latest visa regulations before departure.
