Cicak Senang Resort

Our resort is situated on Liang Beach, on the south side of Bunaken island, west of the jetty and Froggies Divers. If you reserve in advance we can arrange to pick you up in Manado with our own boat. For stays longer than four nights the transfer is complementary.

If you decide to arrange for your own transport it is also possible to charter a boat. Most boats for Bunaken leave Manado from behind Hotel Celebes. The transfer takes about fourty-five minutes by speed boat and costs approximately Rp. 300.000

A cheaper and more adventurous option is a transfer with the Public boat. Every day (except for Sundays) around 2 pm at least three boats leave for Bunaken from the Pasar Bersehati in Manado. One of these boats will head for Liang Beach after a stop at Bunaken village and actually stops off right in front of our resort. It costs Rp. 25.000 per person and takes at least one and a half hours. It is faster to unboard at Bunaken Village and have someone drop you off at our resort with a motorbike.

Manado has an international airport. Singapore Airlines owned company Silk Air flies from Singapore to Manado five times a week and vice versa. There are also flights to and from Davao in the Fillipines. Since September 2008 there are three flights a week to and from Kuala Lumpur by low cost airline AirAsia. Tickets can be booked online at www.airasia.com.
Besides the above there are many flights a day to and from Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Makassar, Balikpapan and Ternate. For domestic flight information check the websites of for example Garuda Airlines, Lion Air (online bookings possible) and Batavia Air.

The center / port of Manado is about a 45 minute drive from the airport. A Taxi should cost you no more than Rp 100.000.
